Derf needle holder
Short needle holder with a fine, straight or slightly curved jaw and a locking ratchet; similar in size to, or smaller than, the Halsey.
How it is used
Very fine suturing in ophthalmology, plastic surgery and pediatrics.
Clinical tip
Although similar to the Halsey, the Derf is typically loaded with smaller needles thanks to its shorter, finer jaw.
