Amplatz renal dilator/sheath
A set of semi-rigid plastic dilators of progressively increasing calibre plus a matching radiopaque outer sheath, advanced over a guidewire.
How it is used
Sequentially dilates the percutaneous tract to the kidney and, with the sheath left in place, keeps it open so the nephroscope and instruments can pass in and out safely during PCNL.
