Foley catheter
A flexible latex or silicone catheter with two or three lumens: one drains urine and another inflates a retention balloon at the tip once inside the bladder.
How it is used
Used for continuous bladder drainage (urinary retention, urine-output monitoring, incontinence, postoperative care); the three-way version also allows continuous bladder irrigation.
