Walsham forceps
A curved forceps with one rubber-lined jaw, designed to grip the nasal bone externally while the other jaw supports it from within.
How it is used
Used together with Asch forceps in the reduction of nasal bone fractures, exerting controlled bimanual manipulation force.
Clinical tip
The rubber lining on the external jaw protects the patient's skin from abrasion during the reduction maneuver.
