Laparoscope
A rigid metal tube containing a rod-lens optical system (Hopkins system) connected to a light source and video camera, commonly available with 0° or 30° viewing angles.
How it is used
Used to visualize the abdominal or pelvic cavity on screen during any laparoscopic procedure, relaying the image captured through the camera head attached to its proximal end.
